Flexible. Active. Reliable. Fun

Pet care experience

You + Your dogs = My family I am that person that would rather hang out with dogs than people at a party. Hello all! I am animal advocate who has experience at a no-kill rescue shelter based in Glendale. At work we followed routine schedules and training protocols for our dogs and work side by side with professional trainers once a week to make sure our dogs get the best experience possible. I have a lot of patience, 0 breed/condition restrictions and will care for any and all dogs big and small, shy and playful, and/or seniors/special needs. My promise to you is to love your furry children and treat them just as my own. To give them endless love and positive reinforcement. But mostly to ensure that your best friend has the most positive, fun, exciting, & memorable experience if left with me. Neighborhood perks: ♡ Safe ♡ Clean ♡ Nearby parks ♡ Nearby dog parks ♡ Nearby Hiking Trails ♡ I am a very active person and can accommodate hyperactive needs with plenty of outdoor therapy. If your dog is the timid "Netflix and chill" type I can definitely roll with that, too! Why I love dog sitting: I grew up with dogs. I've loved and owned dogs my entire life. When I was four years old, I was attacked by a chow-chow and left with a face gushing with blood, and later, stitches and a scar. But even after that, my love for dogs has only grown. I believe that there is a connection with dogs that is very special and deep. And that dogs have the ability to communicate with humans in a way that is unspoken, & beautifully warm. I am a devout advocate for them let alone ALL living beings (even spiders)! I am far too familiar with how they interact and their social hierarchies. I am intrigued by their behavior and want to continue to grow around dogs because my relationship with them has been formative. Meet my pets I have a friendly little 5y/o pit bull named, Kaia and a 2y/o husky named Zhia. I tell everyone they are my toddlers. They have done well with a variety of animals including guinea pigs, rescue kittens, as well as rescue dogs coming in and out of the house while being fostered. They are often introduced to other animals because I rescue strays/lost pets. Over the years they have developed a stronger sense of boundaries and have discovered alas that they are not acceptable candidates for sitting in laps. They are very social and love to play. However, Kaia is better with social dogs than shy & timid ones. Not to worry. Either way, your dog will have no interaction with mine unless you are ok with it. They have very many toys and love to share! Vaccines are up to date.

Grace is amazing with my nervous rescue, Niko. Puts her right at ease, and let’s her play with her own dog while I’m away! Daily photos and updates keep me at ease.

I always ensure to be proactive when observing a dog's behavior and always follow any precise lists or protocols left for me by clients. I am always on time for gigs. I treat everyone's pets as my own and have plenty of experience under belt in terms of animal care and behavior so you can trust that your pets would be taken care of a secure. In my home I have dividers like Midwest gates and X-pens to be used as needed. And always have other dogs introduced between a gate before physically interacting.
