From a lifetime of my own pets, caring for family/friends’ pets while they’re out of town to 6 months of volunteering with PAGO and 6 years volunteering with small cat rescues, I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and health ranges. I do not have children so my pets are my world. I currently have a chocolate lab mix named Doak and a small mixed breed named Dolly. Both are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. While Doak is more welcoming than Dolly neither are territorial and are accustomed to sharing their home with other dogs. I will not be able to keep cats in my home as Doak is not a good host around cats. I worked in childcare for 10years and have worked at a home health office for the past 5. I am no stranger to making the needs of others my top priority. I'm a calm, patient yet active caretaker and have been a long distance runner for 12 years. Whether your pet is full of energy or is more of a shy professional napper, I will do whatever it takes to make them feel like they have won the sitter jackpot!
