Patient, trustworthy, loving to all

Pet care experience

I do realize I'm young, but that has never stopped my ambition to help others(people and animals alike). I've been home to dogs of all kinds, intern at multiple animal shelters and Cape Wildlife Center, and will care for you're dog as if it were my own. I have always had a deep connection with dogs, am willing to work with any issues/situations, and have experience in house/behavior training. It's important to note my maturity, dedication, and immense commitment to work and animals overall well-being. I'm extremely friendly, open, and engaging; I've also worked in customer service since I was 14, so I can follow instructions easily and take constructive criticism. I've mastered the art of remaining calm and collected in chaotic situations due to my vast experience with animals, specifically through my work at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center and hospital where anything and everything imaginable has happened. Although I do have a strong love for dogs, my automatic response of their presence being hopelessly smitten, I take their care/individual needs incredibly serious. And don't worry if you're dog is rather strong/large, I guarantee I'll be able to handle them whether it's on walks or just the instillment of requested upon rules. I'm an active person, so I'll more than happy to go on walks/hikes and play until the dog(s) can't play no more. At my house, we have three friendly cats(who oddly act more like dogs) and one older Jack Russel who gets along well with other dogs. But in the case a client isn't comfortable with cats and/or dogs, they can easily be separated and kept in two safe/ thriving environments within my home. My personal insurance policy regarding the possibility of being bitten is simply that if that were to happen, I won't press charges of any kind. I understand unconditionally that sometimes things just happen and dogs can get irritable/snippy just as people can; it doesn't mean they need to be held accountable or are aggressive/dangerous, and it most definitely doesn't mean they should be taken away from their family. As a young child, my sweet German Shepherd bit me randomly, sending me to get stitches. We gave to a safe home before authorities could take her away because in my family we believe all dogs deserve the best love/care regardless of their past. I would like to finish up by ensuring my absolute best care to all and any animals that I'm lucky enough to become friends with; along with promising to actively soothe/provide empathy at times of anxiety/fear/uncertainty. At the end of the day, I'm just a dog lover who's past experience has taught unequivocal patience and flat-out respect, absolute affection included, for my clients in full. And I'd be delighted and honored to provide my care.

So happy Grace watched my Nala girl! She took such good care of her, gave me updates/sent pics, and kept the house super tidy. Will definitely use her again!

Grace was a great sitter for our Australian Shepherd and our cat! She was very accommodating of their specific care needs. We will look forward to using her again in the future.

Information Grace M. would like to know about your pet

I have no preferences for my clients at all. I'd like to be informed of any special circumstances, dietary needs, or temperament issues of the dog(s) prior to sitting them so I can provide the best care possible.

A typical day

Hiking, running, general horse play, fetch, you name it, I do it. We'll go on walks to parks, beaches, fields to run freely, and just the yard if times limited. We can even go swimming in the ocean or in my neighborhood pond(if, of course, okay-ed by the owner first). He or she will have plenty of access to exercise, play-toys, and snuggles.
