Pet care experience
I love dogs (as most coloradans do). I currently have a 5 year old cattle dog. She loves fetch and playing with new doggie friends. (FOR HOUSESITTING CLIENTS: i am happy to leave my dog at home with my partner) In my college days, I worked at a doggie daycare as well as walked dogs for local families between classes. If you are looking for cat sitting I am also the person for you! I love our feline friends and get my fix by pet sitting them! I tend to do this a lot and can be pretty flexible with time/number of visits. I also have experience administering medicine. I hope you consider me for your pet sitting needs :)

She was a great sitter for our two cats over the holiday week and was flexible with changes in our travel schedule! It was our first time using Rover and loved the pictures and updates she would send during each visit.

I try to treat your home as I would my own. In my experience, dogs listen to their owner the best so I keep dogs on leash on hikes/at the park/etc. I also try to limit walks in the heat of the day.

The big one is if your dog is friendly with other dogs/how they react to meeting new dogs on leash. If you are an overnight guest/I am watching dogs in your home, I do have my own dog and will require a meet and greet before hand.
A typical day
I am a big fan of having my dog work for her dinner (practice tricks) and am happy to do that with your pup if I am watching them/walking them around meal times. As mentioned elsewhere, I love the open space that we have in the area and try to use it as much as possible, if your dog does not do well in these areas, please let me know and I am happy to adjust any walks to keep your dog in a comfortable environment.

Availability
I walk at least two times a day with my dog and on days there are only two walks there is lots of time out in the yard. Walks are at least 20 min, the morning ones are usually 45 min to an hour. I work from home so pups in my care get lots of attention and potty breaks as needed (especially good for puppies). I try to get out in the front range at least twice a week with dogs. I run for pleasure (crazy i know) so if your pup will get to do that if they are allowed/old enough for that much impact. I usually try to limit runs with dogs to about 1.5 miles so they don't get too worn out or injured.
