Pet care experience
I’ve loved caring for pets from a young age. I’ve had pets my whole life, and began working as a pet sitter after graduating high school. Additionally, my mom worked as a pet sitter while I lived at home, so I have tons of experience from caring for and assisting with all different types of animals!!

Grace was a fantastic sitter. She took wonderful care of our two cats (and plants)! She was consistently punctual, communicative, and extra thoughtful, going out of her way — eg, making time for a meet and greet and spending extra time to add some more food when I realized my instructions were off. From the photos she shared, it was very clear that the cats took to her. Would highly recommend!

Grace was fantastic! She was very communicative throughout my trip, giving me updates on food and walks regularly! She also heaped so much love and attention on my puppy, which I really appreciate! I could tell from the photo updates that Dora had a great time with Grace!

While I will not be boarding pets in my own home, I have plenty of experience working in clients’ homes to keep their pets safe. For example, if I were to enter a house through the garage door, I would ensure that the garage door is closed behind me when I enter the actual house to prevent an excited pet from running out. As pet parents, I realize you have placed a lot of trust in me, and I always do my best to provide each animal with as much love and attention as possible.

A typical day
I love to walk with your dogs! Typically, I will start a visit by making sure your pet is fed and has water, but I like to walk outside and play as much as possible. If you have an open backyard, I love throwing toys and playing fetch with dogs. In my free time I love to hike and walk, so I am always finding new trails to explore with your furry friends!

Availability
Pet care is my top priority! My schedule is super flexible - I’m enrolled in a few classes at Tidewater Community College and they are virtual, so I have a ton of free time :)! I would love to set up regular visits during weekday or work hours, I know as pet parents that can be a stressor.
