Home all day to care for your pet!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Grace and I am a total dog and cat person! I have been walking, sitting, and boarding for more than four years. I am a former teacher who is now a stay at home mom. I have gained experience with pets through my employment at Dale City Animal Hospital in Virginia for about a year. I have been around dogs most of my life. Whether big or small, energetic or quiet, I have experience with many different dog personalities. I also have experience giving medicine, insulin, or allergy pills to dogs and cats. I have experience with dog sitting, dog boarding, and dog walking. I am a mom to a 5cyear old, 2 year old, 2 month old and 1 kitty.

Grace was absolutely awesome! She was super attentive to Coco and his needs while he was under her care. This is my mom's dog and she kept both me and my mom updated regularly with progress reports and pictures. It seemed like Coco got along with her son very well and he was spoiled rotten. She was very understanding when Coco had an accident in her house. She even left my mom with a detailed list of things that she and Coco did together while we were away. Overall, we had an awesome experience with Grace and would recommend her to anyone!

Grace loves animals and has had the responsibility of taking care of a family dog for many years. She is attentive to the dog’s needs and schedule. She loves to take her dog to the dog park to interact with other dogs. Grace is the person responsible for bathing her dog-which is not an easy task for dog that hates his bath! She is calm and would be able to learn how to best help a dog fit into a new situation-a skill that would be key when sitting or boarding a dog.

Information Grace E. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know first if the dog is good around children. I have a 5 year old, 2 year old, and a baby at home so I want to make sure your dog is ok with the environment that comes with kids. I would also like to know the feeding routine/ walk routine, if the dog has any triggers (I.e. pulls when seeing a squirrel on a walk, stressed when there’s a storm.) I would also like to know if your dog has any tendencies to pee in a new house, medication your dog is on or allergies.

A typical day

For dogs with more energy, we have a yard and go in daily walks. For those dogs who enjoy being inside most of the time, we have cozy blankets and toys for dogs to snuggle and play! I do have a toddler, so your dog must be good with kids to stay with us! .
