Professional Pet Sitter

Pet care experience

I genuinely love taking care of your pets. I worked in a doggy daycare for years, and plan to open one some day. Until then I enjoy doting over your pups, and working on ways to make their stay a memorable one! I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and I wouldn't have it any other way! I currently have 1 dog of my own. I’ve always had cats until now. :) I understand how hard it is to leave your pet at home while you are away but I will do my best for you to feel completely at ease while I take good care of them for you by sending updates and photos as often as you wish via email or text. I am considerate of any special requests asked of me during my time with your pet. While you are away I want your pet to be as comfortable and happy as if you had not left at all so it is crucial to me that their routine be followed as closely as it possibly can be while you're away. Pet Chaperone : $50/30min PLUS Transportation Fees Dog Runs: 20 min dog run $30 30 min dog run $45 45 min dog run $60 My experience administering medication: I am very confident and comfortable in caring for pets with special needs. I have experience in administering medication and am confident in my abilities, you need not worry. I think of myself as very capable with the responsibility of your pets’ special needs whatever they may be. I have extensive experience administering insulin injections.

Grace was really great with Luffy! She gave consistent updates and was really kind. She let me know when he ate and went out and how he was interacting with her dog. I appreciated it all. I’d highly recommend Grace!

Second time of Booty staying with Grace and once again was AMAZING! Constant pics and updates when I wanted them and made pickup and drop off so insanely easy. Thank you!

I can’t leave a high enough review for Grace. I booked super last minute, she sent me so many pictures and videos and responded to me at any time of day. I had travel issues from hell and she not only kept my cat an extra day but brought him back to my apartment for me. My cat was so well taken care of as was I by this sweet lady. Will 1000000% book again and recommend her to everyone I know.

Time I'll spend with your dog: As long as you’re comfortable with it, I will have your dog with me as much as I can. Many New York businesses are pet friendly so should I be running out to run errands or visit a friends for a catch up in the park I see no reason not to have my furry friend alongside for companionship and the opportunity of more fresh air! Your pets regular walking schedule will be followed also. When I care for your dog in your own home: I'm very loving and I spend a lot of time playing with your pet or out walking. I love cuddles and am very strict with sticking to medication times! I will keep an eye on your home for you as if it is my own, if you need any extra services please speak with me directly about them and I am sure I can accommodate you. As a bonus, I have previously worked in a doggy daycare, cat room, and as a dog grooming assistant, and am happy to send your pooch home smelling nice and fresh from a relaxing bath and pawdicure!! PLEASE NOTE: If your dog gets covered in feces, mud, or anything understandably in need of urgent cleaning; I will reach out to you and request permission to bathe them at a charge of $85, or $100 for dogs 75lbs +. If I do not receive a reply, permission is implied, based off need. I’ll take photos. If another dog in my care is in need of bathing as a result of your dogs behavior; you will be requested to cover their bath also. This is because each bath takes roughly 60-90 minutes. Please be honest about your dogs bathroom habits. If your dog is not house trained or pee pad trained, there will be a $15 dollar rate increase per day, $25 for dogs 40lbs+, this is to accommodate extra cleaning time, supplies and stress. I understand that sometimes you can’t predict how your pup will behave in new environments, and will follow your directions to make them comfortable. I have a secure apartment. I put up a fence when we have guest pups, to stop them running to the door. The apartment is puppy proofed too.

While you are away I want your pet to be as comfortable and happy as if you had not left at all so it is crucial to me that their routine be followed as closely as it possibly can be while you're away. Just provide me with the information you consider important; and I’ll make sure to pay close attention to details. What I need to know about your dog: Most importantly I would need to know if your dog has any special needs that I need to be aware of, as well as any previous medical issues (even if Rover hasn’t had a seizure in 5 years…just in case!), and who your pets Veterinarian is in case of emergency. Aside from that I would like to know about your dog’s personality. Are they social with other pets? Are they safe with children should one approach us while out for a walk? Are they house trained? Have they been known to suffer from separation anxiety in the past? Is there a chance they may chew furniture in your absence? Do they have any fears that may cause a change in behavior, such as thunder and lightning? Where do they like to be walked? Although I find most dogs will “show” me their favorite route on day 1.

A typical day

I have all the coolest toys, every kong imaginable; plus every type of filler, bully sticks for days, high tech interactive toys, cheap cardboard cones, noisy toys, crinkle toys and they are all sanitized, washed and dried on high heat after every pup guest leaves. Feel free to bring your own, or new toys to add to the collection! Typical Day: Wake up: walk time Breakfast Playtime Nap Snacks Walk Nap Playtime It kind of just goes like this until feeding. Last walk: 10pm-midnight. First walk: 6am-9am.

I am home a lot, but also go out for work. When I’m gone my neighbors dog usually plays with mine if he’s not with me, so they are always our top priority. We have a very pet friendly/orientated building, so the pups are rarely alone.
