I have a dog of my own who is in the process of training to be a therapy dog through Therapy Dogs International. She is 15 pounds of pure happiness. I LOVE all animals, but dogs are my favorite. My dog loves to play with other dogs and has never shown aggression towards anything. She has helped other dogs who have had trauma be more outgoing and friendly with less fear and more confident of activities and people. It is quite incredible how animals impact each other and humans through their love and companionship. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I would like to have a general idea of the dogs temperament prior to dog sitting. It is important to respect and animals boundaries so having knowledge of that is important.
A typical day
My walking route involves walking to and from the Minnehaha dog park and allowing the dogs to play at the dog park for socialization and exploration for a period of time. (typically 30 minutes).
