I grew up with dogs, cats, fish and chickens - on a regular modern family farm. Fell in love with my first dog, Ruby at the age of 7 - and have loved dogs ever since. I have also been dog-sitting for friends and family for about 15 years. The on-going joke is that my friends pets are my god-children. I'm active and responsible, and love taking care of furry friends. I have experience boarding, sitting, walking and caring for dogs of all ages. Typically while boarding or sitting a dog the day starts off and ends with a couple mile walk around the neighborhood. Keeping the dog active and happy is very important to me! If the dog is active and enjoys dog parks or hikes, this can also be apart of their stay! I work virtually from home and this allows me great flexibility in tending to the needs of the dog. There are frequent bathroom trips while we are spending time indoors, but I can also offer a fenced in backyard that has shade in the afternoon for enjoying the fresh air. I have a 4 year old Aussie named Arya! She is great with other dogs and enjoys the company of other dogs in the house and on walks.
