My name is Grace & I have had a passion for animals since my earliest days! I have worked in the Veterinary field for 3+ years, both in a day practice setting and now in 24-Hour Emergency Hospitals. I am now a student at Virginia Tech majoring in Wildlife Science & I'm lonely without my animals around. I'd love to come spend time with & love on your fur-babies when you are unable to! They will be in good hands as I have handled dogs & various other animals (including reptiles) all my life and am professionally trained in a veterinary setting and have also been privately sitting all kinds of animals since a young age of about 7. Please consider me the next time you need someone to care for your babies! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since the day I was born. As soon as I was old enough to talk I began begging my parents for a dog. Unfortunately, I did not get a dog until I was around 11 years old, but that didn't stop me from getting my hands on any & all dogs I could. I began pet sitting when I was about 7 years old, the first few times with my mom & then I took the reigns. I needed little to no direction when it came to caring for animals, as it came naturally to me. My parents eventually saw this and one Christmas I was blessed with my crazy, obnoxious, and totally lovable Jack Russell named Pep. My experience administering medication I have worked in a veterinary hospital for multiple years & have had plenty of experience handling all types of animals. This also means that I am completely comfortable with all types of medication and will be able to properly medicate your animal. I am also able respond properly in case there is an emergency situation, although I do not plan on having any. I have never had a problem occur while an animal was in my care. I have a true passion & am dedicated to the proper care & safety of animals.
