Pet care experience
As a long time pet parent, I understand that caring for each dog is unique and personalized to their specific needs. To give you the best service, I will respect your pet parenting style when your pup is under my care. I am an attentive and patient person you can count on with a growing interest in dog training and behaviour. My husband Richard and I work as a team to make sure your pup gets 1:1 play, walks and belly rubs :) Looking for someone experienced in caring for senior pups with medical needs? I’d be happy to help! My dog Cody is a 6 year old chihuahua-mix. He’s quiet, sweet, and an all around good boy. Cody is a rescue and has come a long way through consistent training. As a matter of fact, we use Rover as a tool to help him socialize with other dogs. With the experience I’ve gained from being a parent to a rescue, I approach all dogs with the same level of awareness and mindset.

I can’t thank Gloria enough for taking care of Calvin while we were away for our annual vacation of four weeks. It was the first time we were leaving Calvin for this duration so naturally we were anxious but Gloria put us to ease immediately with a meet and greet in advance. She is experienced, kind and flexible and a huge dog lover. She would provide regular updates on his activities and behaviour along with pictures and videos. Initially Cody ( who’s the cutest side kick to her) and Calvin did take time to get along but Gloria handled it with so much care - also engaging them both creatively with treats and tricks to find space for each other as they stayed together. I have every confidence in Gloria and cannot recommend her enough.
Gloria is an amazing sitter. She is knowledgeable and thorough. She takes the time to understand your dog’s unique characteristics and needs. She kept us up to date and informed throughout sending pictures, videos and notes. Frankie was very happy in her care.
Gloria was fantastic. Our dog doesn't usually get along with every dog right away and takes a bit of warm up but he was so happy with Gloria and her dog. We got regular updates with videos so we could see him enjoying his time, which allowed us to enjoy our time away without worrying about him. He was actually a little sad the first day we got back because I think he missed his new friends! Gloria is professional, organized, accommodating, and immensely qualified to take care of your dogs. 10/10 Would recommend and use again!

Your pup will be treated the same way I expect my Cody to be treated! You can expect transparent updates with photos and videos daily. Safety is my top priority. I ask for your full transparency on your dog’s behaviour (level of reactivity from triggers) to allow me to prepare. We have a 24x18x19 crate available if you need. On walks, we won’t enter off leash areas unless you give us permission and we’ll certainly not go off leash in open areas.

A typical day
Your pup can look forward to walks 4 times a day in the neighborhood avoiding as much high traffic areas as possible if that’s a trigger. There is plenty of quiet areas and a nearby trail.

Walk me through your typical schedule with your pup and we’ll adapt. I work from home so going on regular walks during the day is part of our daily routine. On weekends, we’ll spend more time outside on longer walks and will only visit off leash parks with your permission.
