Dogs are full of love--they love treats, they love walks, they love tummy tickles, and most importantly, they love their humans! Their love inspires and centers me. I want to look after your dog so I can give them back some of the love they give every day. My experience with dogs goes clear back to childhood. I grew up with a cuddly Chihuahua mix named Maya who still lives with my parents. In high school, I volunteered with two non-kill animal shelters in Tucson, AZ. Dogs with medical needs are my specialty: hip/knee dysplasia, separation anxiety, allergies, pregnancy, epilepsy—you can trust that I’ll give these special pups extra-special care. And I’ll happily take on other kinds of pets. Parrots, rabbits, cats, I’ve cared for them all! I live a life deeply connected to nature, hiking nearby trails and enjoying sunsets. The arts also mean a lot to me, as I go out a couple of times a week for concerts and art festivals. I choose dog-friendly settings and events whenever possible, so your dog is always welcome to join me as I explore everything great about this city. I’m new to the area, so if you or your pup know of any spots I must check out, let me know! First impressions are important, so I’ll tailor our initial meeting to your pup’s personality. For a playful dog, it’s best for us to meet in a park where there’s plenty of space to run and play. But a more low-key canine calls for a more settled environment like a café. It all comes down to the fact that every animal is unique, with a unique personality, and I want to respect your pet’s uniqueness.
