My experience comes from caring for my own dogs and dog sitting big dogs for friends who don't want their pups to stay in their comfy familiar home while they are away. I've owned labs, huskies, shepherds and collies. Most recently I had two collies that have travelled with me around the world. Sadly one has passed just recently and the other has gone to live with his grandparents on a glorious ranch not too far away. So I'm with out a dog of my own but love having them around and I live very close to Central Park so I can take them out for fun walks often. I'm relatively new to NYC (two years). Moved here after finishing my PhD in Boston, hence the lag in recent dog sitting. That and COVID. I am happy to meet new dogs of all ages and breeds. I love large dogs too but my place may be too small for some but I'm happy to meet up and see what works.
