Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life. I have two loving Yorkie Service Dogs that respond to soft spoken commands. They cuddle with me on the couch and in my bed at night. We have enjoyed hosting a number of friends dogs while they were on vacation. My girls greet everyone at the door with barks and wagging tails. We have a nice back yard with a six foot privacy fence for play. Also, a big "puppy door" which we teach our visiting dogs to go in and out, at will during the day. We have steps to get on the couch and on Mom's bed at night. No yelling, just love at our home.

I prefer small to medium size dogs. We enjoy making them feel at home and even if they are shy about playing with my girls, they usually start to jump in and join the play after a few days of watching.
A typical day
My girls love to run around the house and yard, play "tug-of war" with their ropes and jump from the chairs to the couch and hide under the fringe trimmed foot stool. They stick their heads under and think they are invisible. Penny likes to watch TV and jumps on the foot stool when she sees a dog on the screen. She also loves to sit in my lap and view Facebook! Then they flop down and cuddle up for naps. They are my best friends and entertainment.
