If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog with the love and care that you give them, then you have come to the right listing! I love all animals, not just dogs. I have experience working with small dogs (Bishon-Shitzu Mix and a Terrier Mix) and Large dogs (Golden Retrievers and Bernese and Rottweilers). Together my experience with dogs, in general, spans about twenty years. I started getting serious about animal care approximately ten years ago. I used to work at a doggy daycare for a while as well. (Some of my pictures are from then) As you can see from the pictures I have posted, I like to give you photo updates for my visits. You'll know that your animal is being safe and being loved while you're away. And you'll have the pictures to remind you of the wonderful care that was provided. I have trained multiple family dogs in the past. I do not include training services as I am not a professional trainer. I just know how to be consistent with them. I can be calm so that your pups can be calm. I am aware of the separation anxiety that occurs for some animals, and most of the time it only lasts a short while with me. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to host animals at my place. In the future, I hope to offer that as an option, but until then, I am offering a lower price for taking care of your pups at your place. All Drop-In visits for dogs will include at least a 15-minute walk within the half-hour price. If you have multiple dogs, I offer a discount for additional dogs. I also have a promotional code for first-time Rover bookers!

Gizelle house sat for our 15 week old puppy for one day. She came for a meet and greet the week before, and instantly showed her calm, loving attitude. I will treat your pup however you'd like them to be treated. If you like keeping them in a crate, I can do that. If you like your dog to have free range of the house, I can do that. If you don't want the dog to be on the couch or the bed, I can do that as well. I am also comfortable with administering medications if necessary and am well versed in the avoidance of pills techniques dogs like to do.

Important things to know about a dog before sitting them is their general behaviour pattern. Some dogs are high energy, some are relaxed energy, and some are hybrids. Knowing what kind of energy your dog has before sitting helps me to prepare myself for the kind of visit we will have.
A typical day
I like to go on long walks because, most of the time, a tired pup is a happy pup. I also like to take a drive over to the dog park so your pup can have fun and socialize with other pups. Last, but not least, I like to pet, cuddle, and snuggle your pups! That's my favourite thing to do.

Availability
I currently work a part-time job where my days vary and the hours vary within normal business hours. I will work with you to find the right time slots that work for both of us. I can always find time for your animal outside of my regular work hours and can even split a drop-in to be before and after my normal shifts. I have quite a few days off generally, so there's always time available.
