Pet care experience

As a life-time lover of animals, I am the purrrfect fit to care for your fuzzy four-legged baby! Hi there my name is Giselle. I am a New York City based pet care provider! I have lots of experience handling cats of all tempers and sizes, as well as dogs of golden-retriever to pomeranian size. I have a knack for befriending shy and anxious cats and dogs, but only if you will be a repeat client (trust-building takes time). I have two precious pooches (large dog-shy harnessed trained golden retriever and rambuctious extroverted medium collie-lab mix) at home, so I know the level of attention and communication needed to keep you at ease that your pet is in good hands. If I sound like a good fit for your pet, please contact me if you are interested.

Giselle's compassion and consideration for the well-being of all beings makes her a great caretaker for animals. I have seen how she interacts with my cat and how she talks about her family dogs - she is a real animal lover and responsible caretaker.

Giselle has always been timely and dependable. Our dog, Carson, is prone to being skittish with new people, but Giselle was incredibly patient and kind with him. I would highly recommend her services, she is responsible and trustworthy.

Giselle took care of my dog for a week and I'm pretty sure she liked Giselle better than me by the end of it. She was attentive and asked me questions when my dog seemed to be sick (which is normal for her). I would definitely recommend her!

Information Giselle B. would like to know about your pet

I need to know as many details as possible. Like if they have a particular fear, do they run out when the door is opened, do they chew on their leash, do they try to wiggle out of their collar or harness, are they dog shy, do they get scared by the trashtrucks, etc.. I am particular to smaller dogs for walking (since I am not a muscular person) but if your large dog is calm I love them. I have a golden retriever so I know that if they are too wild, they are hard to physically control. Don't want to accidentally risk your baby's life!

A typical day

I think an individualized experience is important, as not all dogs have the same personalities. Depending on your dog (or cat-adventure cats are awesome) we could go for a walk to the nearest park, or take a stroll through the neighborhood. Lots of sniffing is encouraged. If they are dog friendly we can visit a dog park if there is one nearby. If not, a more secluded park could be better for their favorite game (fetch, etc).
