Pet care experience
As a life-long lover of animals I started to volunteer at Valley Animal Center in July of 2016. I walked, cleaned kennels, and interacted with the dogs to keep them company. I worked with many different sizes, breeds, and ages daily while there and the best part was seeing many go to great homes! I also pet-sit professionally and currently have a client that I'm always there for if she ever needs me to take care of her two dogs. I dog-sat for one she had previously that required intensive medical attention and medication twice a day. Being there for our furry friends is important to me - wether it's just a quick walk or a longer stay, just being there for them is as important to me as it is for you! I love to keep up on all sorts of animals and their individual care needs. Being able to help people that need someone to watch their dogs or cats is something I really enjoy. Giovanna is flexible and reliable. Lego, our large Dobe, loves when she looks after him at our house. She sends daily photo updates and follows all of our instructions about his care without question or issue. She also leaves our house as clean as it was when she arrived. We will definitely rebook with Giovanna.
Giovanna did a good job watching over our two dogs. She walked them twice per day as requested and tired out our Border Collie! My dogs seemed very happy with her. We have already booked her again!
Giovanna is an excellent dog sitter! She treats your pets like her own! She is very loving and caring! Giovanna has been dog sitting for me for five years. She has taken care of all four of my dogs, and has done a great job! My dogs range from small to large, young to old, and she does a wonderful job with each one of them. Giovanna has done in-home dog sitting for me though out the year, including summer vacations and the holiday season. I highly recommend Giovanna, you won’t be disappointed!
My husband and I had Giovanna watch our two fur-babies, Max and Toby, while we were away for a quick weekend out of town. Max is very happy-go-lucky but Toby, our smallest (and newest rescue), is very shy around new people and tends to be a little aggressive and snippy. Giovanna understood this and took her time to get to know Toby when they first met. She was patient, waited for him to eventually come to her and stayed neutral until Toby would let her pet him. After a short time together it was love! We felt Giovanna's natural love for animals and had a relaxing getaway knowing our boys were in good hands. I'd recommend Giovanna anytime!
