Pet care experience
I have been walking my own dogs since I was about 8 years old and always tried to make a business out of doing it because I love having an excuse to 1-be outside and 2-be with dogs while being outside. I have walked a wide range of dogs from 13 pounds to 150 pounds and I have loved every single one of them. I have walked dogs who like to smell the roses and mosey around for most of the walk and also there have been some who could run a 5k in 5 minutes. I have adjusted to personal preferences of each dog family. I have walked dogs in which the owners main request was to ‘please just get their energy out’ to owners who requested specific commands be used during the walk. I started doing dog walking as a job in Hershey Pennsylvania and fell in love with all my dogs there and miss them all so much. I plan to make north Utah county my permanent home and would love to fall in love with your dogs here as well.

I have cared for a few dogs that have separation anxiety and have chewed up things as well as get very antsy while their family is away. I like to think I have a calming ability with dogs once they know they can trust me. I am able to help them calm down, at least for the time they are with me. I have cleaned up messes these dogs make and work with them to calm them, I notify the families of the destruction that has ensued and go forward with what they say is best for their pet. In the case where families are unavailable to contact me I clean up any messes and continue with the regular routine set up prior to that day and when the family is able to contact me I have in some cases gone back to do as they requested to help their pet the way they’d prefer.

In case the inevitable happens and I need to bring one or two of my kids I would like to know if your pets are comfortable with 6-10 year old kids.
A typical day
It’s pretty simple what I do with them. I give them as much love as the floofs are comfortable with, I walk them, praise them, make sure they have no issues that the owner isn’t aware of and give them lots of love before I need to return them back home. I will take as fast of a pace as the dogs like to take or go as slow as they want. I’m not a great runner but I have been known to do short sprints with the especially energetic pups.

Overall my schedule is pretty pliable. I work from home for a law firm and have 3 kids and 2 dogs that I care for at home as well but I am able to work with most schedules.
