I have had at least three or four dogs since I was a child. My youngest daughter is an animal lover and so we had many dogs over the years. She became a professional pet groomer and has three dogs of her own. One of the common concerns she hears from her clients is that when people pet/housesit, they leave the house a mess. They typically like the way their pet is cared for, however, the untidiness of the house is a concern. Rest assured, you house will be left in the condition is was found! This is the first time in my life I don't have a dog. I miss having one but not ready to get a new dog. I treat my dogs like children and it is hard when you lose them. It used to be stressful for me when I had to find a dog sitter or someone to drop in and check on them. I would constantly worry about my dogs. Needless to say, I get how hard it is to leave your babies with someone you do not know. I thought this would be a good way for me to enjoy interacting with dogs while at the same time, providing reliable and loving care for other people and giving them Peace Of Mind! It is so difficult to be away from your pets, they are like children.
