Pet care experience
My ownership and volunteer work have given me a wide range of experience with dogs and cats of all ages as well as exotics! I’ve helped bottle feed feral kittens, potty trained shy puppies, and given love and comfort to many pets in hospice. I am most proud of my work rehabilitating breeders rescued from mills and animals removed from hoarding situations, and I take pride in my ability to read animals and adjust to their unique needs. I love reptiles, amphibians, and insects and I keep my own planted aquariums and vivariums. I would love to watch your unusual pets, the stranger the better! I can provide pre-killed feedings, brumatjon checkups, and aquariums maintenance (freshwater only) both short and long term for most species.

Gina did a fantastic job with my American Bulldog, Cali. Cali can be a challenge as she isn’t great with other dogs and is big and needy. Gina is great with large bully breeds and walked Cali very responsibly, steering clear of other dogs and ensuring Cali was happy and comfortable, working in training and leash manners at the same time. She sent me pictures and updates throughout and ensured my home as securely locked and my garden watered. I would 100% recommend Gina to pet owner, especially exotics! She has a ton of knowledge of reptiles, birds, and other types of pets.
Gina is a fantastic dog sitter. She asked great questions to better understand care for our dog, and she kept us up to date on how our dog was doing while we were away. She clearly cares deeply about animals, and she definitely goes above and beyond when it comes to pet sitting. I would highly recommend Gina to anyone!
Gina was super sweet and flexible and Kowah was very well taken care of! He was loved and exercised his entire stay and was in great shape when I picked him up! Thanks Gina!

A typical day
While I don’t run, I enjoy brisk, long walks and am happy to take 3-5 mile walks and hikes several times per weeks with leash-trained dogs. I am very comfortable with high-intensity breeds like hunting dogs and sighthounds.
