I am everyone says this, BUT I am obsessed with pets. I have a decade of experience as a dog and cat guardian. I have 7 years of professional dog handling, including medication administration, common first aid skills and dog behavior evaluation when it comes to handling groups of dogs. I’ve even owned small animals and reptiles! I am the President & Founder of a 501c3 non-Profit dog rescue, Off the Chain MKE. My organization focuses on the dogs in our city that need the most support. The majority of the dogs in our care come from MADACC. Focusing on the severely emaciated or dogs with complex behavior issues means I have extensive knowledge on how to interact and handle fearful dogs and dogs who have LOTS of energy! I am a dog mom of 4, and I’m obsessed with them. I even have a cat! One of my dogs is extremely fearful of anyone besides myself and my husband. Managing her behavior, environment and medication is a lot of work, but it’s what she needs. I also have a cat with health issues that needs daily medication as well. I want to focus on dogs who do not to well with traditional boarding. Due to anxiety, stress, challenging behaviors etc. If you choose me to care for your pet while you are away, rest assured that they will receive the same care that my own dogs and cat and the dogs in my rescue get from me. I understand what it is like to have a dog who has complex behavior issues, and I’m here to provide that service to the dogs in my community.
