I love all dogs! I'm currently a graduate student and love to take walks in Prospect Park on a nice day, or read or Netflix when I'm relaxing. Otherwise, my Husband and I love traveling the world and having local experiences where we happen to be visiting. I also have a penchant for fixing up fried chicken and relatively healthy sides, like kale chips. I live in S. Park Slope, in a pre-war walkup building, and live on the second floor. The apartment will have room for your dog(s) to either play or sleep in one of our offices, living room, kitchen, or in our room; basically, they can hang out wherever they please. The rooms are air conditioned or heated by radiator heat. I had a sweet German Shepherd mix rescue, Duke. Duke was epileptic and crossed the Rainbow Bridge after suffering from lymphoma, so I know how to give dogs their pills more than once a day, and know how care for especially sick pups. Duke's "twin" (think, Arnold Swarznegger and Danny DeVito in the '80s movie, Twins) is a 9 year-old English Bulldog named Zephyr. Duke and Zephyr were both born in November 2008. Zeph is still with us and likes to sleep (a lot) and sometimes acts young at heart when he wants to play or get up on the sofa or bed. Whether your dogs pull when they walk, like to take their time, are super active and need a run, or like short walks in the summer and the winter (those short nose pups), I can handle walking (or running with) your dog and ensure they're fed, comfortable, & happy. I will tailor my day to ensure your pup(s) are taken care of. Their safety is my priority. I'm available to take care of your dog(s) daily & over the weekend unless marked unavailable on my calendar.
