I am an absolute dog-lover! As a former volunteer at the New Nodaway Humane Society in Maryville, IA, a PetsHotel Pet Care Specialist at PetSmart in Clive, IA, volunteer at Last Hope Animal Rescue, and a cashier at PetSmart in Cedar Rapids, IA, I have a plethora of dog experience! From Great Danes to chihuahuas, Bernese Mountain Dogs to cockapoos, I have interacted with almost every dog breed! I have been responsible for baths, nail grinds, walks, socializing, doggy day care, feedings, clean-up, maintaining clean water, running around/playing, fetch, etc. with dogs of all ages and sizes. I have experience with dog training and have taught my own dog (Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler) how to sit, jump, lay down, turn around, and crawl. I have also worked with dogs of all temperaments: cautious, wild, calm, cuddly, playful, etc. Although my apartment does not allow dogs, I am more than willing to come care for your dog at home, where he or she is most comfortable! I also cared for cats which included feedings, water, and cleaning litter boxes. Must be friendly cats, though! *Please note that my apartment unfortunately does not allow dogs, so I am unable to watch your pet at my home but am more than willing to come to you!*
