Pet care experience
Hi there! I have been professionally walking and sitting dogs with Wag! and Rover for over 6 years. I am an occupational therapist and my husband is a consultant who works from home. We live in a spacious condo in Lincoln park and I am off work most Wednesdays and Fridays. Your dog will get nothing but love from us! I grew up with a miniature schnauzer named Cinder and had the joy of taking care of her for 12 years up until her passing in January 2017. When I was 10 I put up signs around my neighborhood to advertise myself as a dog walker, and ever since then I've been taking care of pooches. I've been responsible for dogs at all ages and sizes. I've dog sat for family and friends for extended periods of time while they were away on vacation or just gone for a weekend. The gap since my last “official” rover sitting is because they have been through friends and “off the books”

Gina and her family were wonderful with our little girl Mandi! Gina welcomed her with open arms. They treated her like she was one if their own. Mandi had the best time with Gina and she looks forward to more stays in the future! Thank you again for taking such great care of Mandi!
Gina replied quickly to my request for a dog walker. We met a couple days ahead and she was very understanding of his needs. All in all, a great communicator and she also used the feature on the app to track the walk and she sent pictures as well. I felt completely at ease.
Gina walked my dog during lunch while I worked. Everything went great and I even got pictures of him during the walk. I highly recommend Gina!

A typical day
I always take my dogs to the closest parks and walk all throughout the neighborhoods. There'll be a lot of fetch, water, treats, and long walks for your pup. I live down the street from 2 different parks. There are plenty of places to go run around outside. My husband is a marathon runner, so if your dog needs a lot of exercise he can run with them for long periods!

I work part time most weeks, so I am free most Wednesdays and Fridays all day. My husband works from home so he is available even when I’m not home.
