To be a dog owner, is to have an inexplicable relationship with these fury friends. We create special bonds, and dogs become a part of our families. I have been part of a dog family for most of my life. At the age of eight, we adopted our German Shepherd, Hester. I immediately fell in love. We would wrestle and play, and she would follow me all around the house. I loved helping my parents walk her, train her, and brush her. When I was about ten years old, I began caring for the neighbors two Newfoundlands on weekends when they would leave town. I would go over a few times a day to feed them, play with them, and clean up any waste in the yard, as well as tending to any other house care requests such as bringing in the mail, watering the plants, and feeding their cats. In the last 10 years, I've lived with 7 different dogs, all with wonderfully different personalities and needs. Two of those dogs being current roommates of mine. In the last few years, as clients and coworkers learned about my experience and ability to care for dogs, they started hiring me to care for their dogs, cats, and households from anywhere from once or twice a day, to five night overnights. Regarding my availability, my schedule is fairly flexible. I will do my best to accommodate your needs. I have always enjoyed caring for animals of all kinds. When it comes to our pets, our pals, it's important that they are happy and healthy, respected and loved. If I am tasked with walking, or sitting your dog(s), I am committed to ensuring just that.
