I love dogs!... and the people that have chosen to share their life with these amazing animals! Their sloppy kisses, eternal curiosity, and their unique and special bond with us are a huge part of why we have made room for these awesome animals in our lives for thousands of years. Dogs bring such life into a home, and your dog will be treated with the same love, care and consideration as if it were my own. I am Pet-Tech certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I am also a certified dog trainer and would love to host your companion next time you are out of town. If you have some obedience challenges with your dog, I would be happy to work with them upon request. Gillian was absolutely fabulous with Winston. Being just a 5month old puppy he really benefitted from the expertise and professionalism of Gillian’s care. He especially benefitted from the all day walking/play sessions. I’d happily leave my dogs with her anytime.

Gillian was amazing with our pup! We went away for two weeks and I felt like he was in the best hands with Gillian. We loved how he got daily excercise and playtime. Gillian also made sure to give us frequent updates with photos so we felt at ease. Our pupster got a bit of a stomach bug and Gillian took him to the vet and made sure he received extra special care afterwards so we are very grateful! I would highly recommend Gillian! You can also tell she is a true dog lover which to me is the best reassurance.

A typical day
Weekdays: THIS is what makes staying with us so special:) We go on daily off leash adventures up in Montara (between Half Moon Bay and Pacifica on the 1) with my regular dog pack. We have 5 acres (fenced) for your dog to run and play to their hearts content! This is perfect for us to brush up on recall, get lots of exercise and build those socialization skills. Spending time with my balanced pack of dogs is a great way for your dog to fulfill their need for socialization, pack cohesion and build trust with other dogs. It is a favorite of our guests! Weekends: Your pup will go on at least 2 daily walks- morning and evening. We love to hit up local trails or go for a jaunt on the beach. If requested, we will work on basic leash manners while on our walks. If your dog is into fetch or tug, I am more than happy to oblige a round of chuck it or a fun tug session! Also, if your dog craves dog companionship, supervised doggy play time with my personal dog will be part of the daily mix. If your dog is unsure of new dogs, it will receive ample solo play-time with me, or even a little training if you would like a little obedience refresher while you are away.
