I have had dogs my whole life since I was young I started raising and training guide dogs for the blind as soon as I was old enough caring for and training dogs is my true passion It fills my heart with joy knowing that the dogs I had a part in raising and training graduated and became working guide dogs. I will cater to any need your dog might have and I will care for your dog as if they were my own I will apply everything I've learned with guide dogs for the blind to make sure you dog gets all the attention and love they deserve I'm very flexible with times and can accommodate your needs. Gilbert was quickly responsive and flexible to our request for him to watch our older large dog while we did some hiking around the area in the heat. He kept our pup happy and cool and sent photos right away so we knew she was settling in well (she got to hang with sweet older dog, Kayla). He even took her on a walk to a creek nearby, and sent photos of that too. We'd definitely book doggie day care with Gilbert again when we're in the area!
Gilbert took such great care of Bonita! Will definitely be having him watch her in the future.
Gilbert was great- my dog was instantly comfortable with him- she was smiling as he gave her a big relaxing rubdown upon our drop off. Gilbert seems to speak “Dog” and he understands dogs very well. He sent us lots of cute pictures of our sweet baby while we were away. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave my dog with him again.
Wonderful experience for both the human parents and doggie child. Gilbert accommodated our fairly last minute request for a drop off while we were traveling through the area. It was a hot day and we didnt think our big guy, 200lbs, could take the hiking. Gilbert is a true animal lover and has a very gentle and warm demeanor. Gus had a fantastic playday with walks, lots of fresh water, and lounging which is his fav. A perfect option for those adventures where your 4-legged cant tag along and Gilbert is conveniently located near an area with a ton of activities. Thanks for everything! We'll be returning to the area and to have Gus stay with Gilbert!
