I started house sitting for neighbor's pets when I was a child and began volunteering at an animal shelter when I was 15. I went on to be employed at the animal shelter as an adult where I gained important experience in caring for several animals at once. I have volunteered at two other shelters since. I have extensive animal care experience from pet sitting, working at animal shelters, fostering animals, and my undergraduate degree in animal science. I currently work 4 days a week, but I do not start until 12 and work very close to my home. I am able to go home during my lunch break. I have a fenced in yard and two cats of my own who like other animals. If your pet needs to be separated from other a animals, that is not a problem.
