Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little kid! My first dog was a Cairn Terrier who lived with me for 18 years. I have adopted 2 yorkies since & have worked at a doggy daycare in Milford called “Dogtopia.” Today I am currently working at a Dog Groomers to earn my own grooming certificate. At Dogtopia my responsibilities were monitoring an open play room with dogs of different sizes & breeds. Along with watching the dogs play safely I was responsible for cleaning during and after usage. This included moping, vacuuming, & picking up waste. Some major accomplishments were learning the body language of dogs & when dogs are playing versus when a dog is afraid or becoming territorial. I have owned 2 cats, fish, and currently have 4 Guinea pigs.

Gianna was great with our furbaby! She made us feel comfortable with her handling all our needs exactly as we told her and even went above and beyond by teaching our brand new pup how to “paw”! We will definitely use her again whenever possible!
Gianna watched our two cats over the 4th of July. We received adorable pictures every day and an in-depth summary of what they did for playtime. Our cats warmed up to Gianna right away and seemed just as happy when we got home as they did when we left. We travel a few times a year and we will definitely check back to see if Gianna can watch our fur babies again. :)

A typical day
Some fun activities I love to do with dogs is teaching them new tricks! I enjoy working on new ways to keep them moving/motivated. I know some dogs love bubbles, fetch, or other activities so I would be open to all new things.

Availability
I am a college student currently on summer break and am able to set my own schedule as long as I’m told what days I would be needed in advance! I would be available on the weekends & during the week to check in with your pets!
