Pet care experience
I’ve been dog and cat sitting since I was 10 years old. I have a large amount of experience with walking, bathing, and administering medication to pets. I absolutely love dogs (I have three at my parent’s home and have grown up with dogs) and recently wanted to adopt a cat but my building wouldn’t allow it! I will provide your pet(s) with the utmost love and care as though they were my own. As a Yale student and animal-lover, I am extremely responsible and communicative, as I strive to provide the most attention towards your pet(s) and the best experience for you. Also, I *love* to take dog and cat pictures and will most likely take a ton of adorable photos (if you consent of course!). I’m available part-time, and can work every day but Wednesday and Thursday during the daytime; I am also busy on Fridays from 12-4. I am very free and would have lots of time to spend with your pups and kitties, taking walks or just chilling together depending on what THEY want to do. My schedule is pretty flexible as my classes are online and self-paced now. I have an apartment building with parks nearby that we can spend long hours at together. The streets are safe and clean by my apartment and we can spend lots of time outside when not hanging out on the couch or napping together.

Gianna has assisted in on- and-off care for our 3 small dogs for many years. She has a wonderful connection with our herd. Gianna follows directions well and exercises excellent judgement as conditions require. My wife and I have no reservations in leaving the pups in her care knowing they will receive excellent care during our absence. 5+🌟.
Gianna began petsitting for us when she was a teenager and took excellent care of our cats over the years before she left for college. While she has not looked after our dog, I am sure that she would provide the same level of care and affection that she provided to our cats Batman and Harry. I know that Gianna grew up with many pets, including dogs, and it is evident that she truly loves animals and is very comfortable around them.
Gianna M. will be one of your Superstars on your River.com team and you should have no hesitancy in hiring her. She is experienced as a dog walker and petsitter. Gianna is an animal lover to the extreme and has compassion for every living creature. She has a soft spot for senior dogs and those with special needs. She is reliable, resourceful, and responsible. I would recommend her to the nth degree to take care of the 8 animals in our own menagerie. You will not be disappointed with Gianna and I suggest you hire her quickly before someone else does!
Gianna did a terrific job caring for our high energy Wheaten Terrier puppy. Throughout the summer, she let him outside in our backyard several times a day for potty breaks and play time. She also cleaned up accidents he made in his crate. We trusted Gianni (and her mother since Gianna was in elementary school at the time) with a key to our house and appreciated the regular feedback she gave us about our puppy. Even as a young kid, Gianna clearly loved dogs and knew a lot about caring for them!

Before pet sitting your furry companion, I'd like to know your dog's preferences, likes and dislikes (such as are they afraid of thunderstorms), any special needs (medications, conditions, etc.), particular tendencies (isn't good around other dogs, gets tired easily in the heat etc.), and your dog's age.
A typical day
Together, your pup(s) and I can enjoy long afternoons at East Rock, relaxing in the shade, frolicking in the grass, and (safely) chasing after a ball or squirrel. We will explore new parks and smells, and if we're feeling especially active, go on a jog to stay fit and healthy.

Availability
I’m currently a part-time student at Yale so I have LOTS of free time and my schedule is super flexible and open to spend with your furry friend. I’m free every day except Wednesday and Thursday during the day and Friday from 12-4.
