First and foremost: animals are my life! I have been taking care of pets professionally since 2015 and personally for even longer. I was a boarding manager for 5 years and have been a lead veterinary receptionist for the past 3 years. I also just made the exciting jump to start veterinary technician schooling. That being said, I only take on pet sitting gigs that make sense with my schedule and your pet's care. I also am flexible with my rates based on the distance away and your individual pet's needs. I believe each animal should be treated as an individual for their specific care needs. In order to provide the best care, it is vital to truly understand animals and their behaviors. I take great pride in providing a loving environment for all types of pets. I have 15 total of my own currently and have extensive medical and husbandry knowledge for each. I am available to care for all types of animals including exotics. If it is a pet I have not cared for, I would love to learn their care! I am comfortable with all sizes and temperaments. I have successfully built relationships with nervous or unsure pets. I am able to properly administer medications including but not limited to insulin injections and sub-q fluids. I worked overnights triaging emergency vet calls and taking care of hospitalized patients for over 2 years. I also can provide nail trims, routine ear cleaning, and baths.
