Both Gertye and Rodney are both extremely kind and playful with dogs. With Rod and Gertye it'll be a fun outing for any dog. If you leave your dog in their hands, you can expect a happy dog as well as frequent updates to let you know how the visit / walk is getting on. They will also ask if anything is uncertain and will carefully follow any instructions you may have for how you'd like your dog to be cared for. I've personally known Rodney since we were kids in high school and we've always remained close friends. Growing up, Rodney had two energetic and playful jack russel's whom he took wonderful care of, including long runs and constant games. He also loved visiting my house to play with my dogs (a beagle and a collie) and they always looked forward to his visits. Additionally Rod has always been a very caring and responsible towards all animals, including reprimanding me if I squash an ant!
