My name is Gerson M., I am currently at the University of Akron majoring in Criminal Justice. I am originally from Colombia. I'm a Spanish interpreter for the Akron Police Department and I plan to become an officer with the K9 Unit soon after graduating. I have taken a few classes on dog behavior and I believe it's a great skill to have for this business. I grew up with a chocolate lab named Nico. After moving to the U.S, I took care of my grandmother's dog Lucas for a few months until he passed. Ever since I was young I've built a special relationship with dogs. Lastly, I am a very active person, I love to workout so I'm always down to play, run and walk your pet!
