Pet care experience
I am a calm problem solving type of person. I have enjoyed dogs since I was a child and can read their body language very well. I am empathetic to their needs but at the same time instill clear boundaries for their safety. I have taken care of older pets and adjust my care to suit their needs.
Reviews
This is the 2nd time and for a longer period (3 nights) that our little Bruno stayed with Geri. Geri was great, she regularly updated us with photos and videos. Bruno settled in quickly and he was visibly happy during his stay. We highly recommend Geri and we shall ask her again to look after Bruno.
This was Alfie’s first stay with Geri. We met up a few days earlier so Geri could get to know him and he stayed with her for three nights. Alfie is a lovely and easy dog at home but can be quite difficult out and about as he’s very reactive with other dogs. Geri got the hang of him straight away - she’s clearly someone who really understands dog behaviour. All of our communication was easy and quick, Alfie was obviously happy and comfortable with her and we will be more than happy for her to look after him again.
Geri was great with Bruno during his stay, Bruno settled in well. Geri sent regular updates, videos and photos. We would book her again in the future :)
It's always difficult leaving your pup with someone new but Geri was brilliant, she is really calm and confident and looks after your dog as you would yourself. I even picked up some tips for dealing with a super energetic spaniel. Will definitely come back.

I have an enclosed back garden and pets would be supervised by me at all times. Usually if I'm gardening or sitting out. I have a beautiful dog friendly park across the road from me. All dogs will be taken out to the garden early morning for toileting. After I shower and breakfast we will go for a walk in the park. If the dog is comfortable we can go further in my van for a more rural day. In the evening we will do another park walk. A toilet break before bed. Obviously feeding times will depend on instruction from their owner.

I like to know in advance if your pet has any special dietary preferences or no no's. I also need to be informed of any medication that needs administering. Some dogs are good eaters and others not. Please let me know which type of feeder your dog is.
A typical day
I have an enclosed garden where we will interact and play tug or ball throwing. I have an excellent park across the road where we can play fetch or just go on a sniffathon.

Availability
I enjoy travelling in my camper van. I am retired and have a lot of time to devote to travel, gardening, crafts and dog walking and pet care.
