We booked Gerald and everything was cool. The day of drop off, Gerald had asked for a later time. The drop off time was for 7:00pm-7:30pm. Gerald had asked for us to drop off hades at a later time, 8:15pm. We told this this was fine, as things come up. everything was okay once we dropped off our lab. Gerald and his wife were very friendly. Me and my significant other actually cried before we left. The next few days were okay. Although I did have to reach out to Gerald after the first day for pictures / updates of hades. He sent me a few words and one picture. I was a little bit upset because I wanted more about what he did that day, did he eat?did he play? Was there anything else you wanted to tell me, stuff like that. One of the days Gerald had sent me a video of hades. I was happy but it had been the second half of a video he had sent me before. I was a little worried because it wasn’t a new video but my girlfriend was very worried. I assure her maybe he was busy or they wore the same things they had on the day before ( tried to give him benefit of the doubt). The last day came and my father was going to pick up hades. Mind you we were on vacation . We had set our pic of time for 7:00-7:30pm. We did this to avoid any delays the plane might experience since we left the state. The plane unexpectedly had TWO delays which resulted in my father landing at 7:00, my fathers flight left at 3. It’s a two hour flight to florida from where we were staying. This gave my father a two hour limit to get hades. We thought this was fine. Gerald began telling me that my father wasn’t there at 7:00. Of course I knew this because I was in contact with my dad. I told him my dad was urgently trying to get to him. He suddenly told me that my dog hades had attacked another dog and slipped out of his harness not once but twice. He told me the harness needed to be tightened and that my dog had given his wife a black eye, Gerald told me this had happened a few times with the dogs in his neighborhood. He also told me that Hades had peed in their bed twice. Of course I was completely shocked and upset. I wonder how and when this had happened? Gerald had just told me that my dog attacked another dog while at the park. I was upset because I had told Gerald and put on Hades Rover page that hades is not allowed to be around other dogs. I had also put that hades likes to jump up and lick peoples faces. Gerald had told me this was fine. But insisted Hades had given his wife a black eye. I was serisouly in shock. I had provided the couple with a muzzle and specially told him to not let him around other dogs. He had asked me if Hades was allowed in beds and I told him that was up to them. Hades had never peed in my bed before and if they allowed hades in there bed then that would be up to them. The only thing is why hadn’t Gerald told me any of this! It had seems to be sprung out of nowhere! Why hadn’t he told me Hades slipped out his leash not once but twice. Why didn’t they tell me that hades had attacked another dog. Why didn’t he tell me my dog had gave his wife a black eye! Or even that he had an accident in the bed. I was so upset and shaking. I was worried my dog had hurt someone else’s and I didn’t know. Gerald had told me everything was okay but he was telling me as a warning for future sittings. I was shocked. I couldn’t fly down to get hades so I was sitting there shaking with my significant other, calling everyone and making sure everything was okay. I had asked Gerald if everything was okay and if his wife was okay, but he never replied. My dad finally arrived to pick up my dog and the wife reassured that everything was okay. She didn’t look okay, my dad told me she had two black eyes. But still she insisted that hades was fine, she was fine and everything was taken care of. All and all. Gerald never told me about any of these incidents until the end of the sitting. It seemed he was getting irritated about my father not showing up on time, but things happen and the couple knew we were leaving town. It seemed like he told me all of this because he got angry he had to wait longer than said, so he simply told me everything to upset me or scared me. Still I would just like to know why he didn’t let me know when these incidents occurred.
