I've taken care of dogs all my life. I had a German Shepard/Rottwiler mix growing up and he was the love of my life and then had a Chihuaha/Yorkie mix before college. I've dog sat a variety of dogs From small breeds to bigger pitbulls. I am comfortable doing weekend overnight visit, or just dropping in on dog for walks and a bit of play and love. I love training dogs, so I can continue any regimen you are currently trying. In the past, I've done both dog walking and dog/house sitting. I have dog sat a medium-sized retriever mix for a full month. I also house sat during this time which allowed me to walk the dog and take care of him holistically. In regards to dog walk, I have past pet experience but also walk a neighbor's dog regularly when they are away or cannot make it home. They have recently adopted this dog and it is still getting used to other dogs and people (he likes to nip at feet) so walking him has been a huge learning opportunity and experience. Overall, I'd say I have pretty good experience with dogs. I respect owner boundaries in regards to training or just habits they have trained their dogs to avoid. I enjoy taking dogs to dog parks, hiking trails and simple walks around the neighborhood. How involved I am is up to the owners. I love playing with dogs and stimulating their minds by hiding treats or giving them obstacle courses. I am generally available weekdays after 430 and all day weekends. I am looking to do this part-time so I can walk your dogs after work or feed them if you get home too late. I am also available weekends to house sit and keep your pets company!
