Hello, I offer personalised one-to-one day and night care for your dog without having to compromise with the breed, size, temperament or pace of any other dog. Being from a family of animal lovers I have acquired 40 plus years' experience in handling dogs of varying breeds and background. I have skills in Dog Behaviour to help understand exactly what all dogs need to feel safe and comfortable. In 2016, I retired from working in education and moved home without pets, to the village of Eastington to launch my professional dog services. I am DBS approved, fully insured and I have excellent testimonials from both new and repeat customers. My home is situated at Millend Mill, two miles from J13 off the M5. At the Mill customers can enjoy the spacious grounds where you can park, deliver and collect your dog. Eastington is the perfect scenic location for exercising your dog away from heavy traffic. Favourite walks for my canine guest to venture are the Cotswold Way, Canals Trust which is an historic waterway stretching from Eastington to Sapperton and beyond. Prior to a stay over I arrange a meet and greet, I discuss your dog's background, special medical requirements and exchange contact information. While your dog enjoys a stay with me I take my duty of care seriously. I'm trained to follow precautions and correct procedures as a dog first-aider; and as a normal part of service. Access to the flat is by stairs or lift so that all dogs, at whatever stage they are in their life, can access the flat with ease. During the stay I also keep you updated with a daily summary of activities via email or WhatsApp. Please note! I am not able to care for dogs who have bad domestic habits, problems with recall or problems with bladder control. Successful placements work by my commitment to follow through the continued care and routine exercise which your pet has been accustomed to. This is a one-to-one dog service, it is my continued mission to deliver a high standard of dog care and home-from-home comfort. I currently work online no more than 2 hours a day from home. I am therefore flexible for walks and can be a companion to your pet. I can use an optional crate at night (owner to provide) if you think this helps. If expressly required, I will keep your dog on lead provided your dog walks to heal. If a dog is new to my service, I generally take dogs off lead after the second or third walk, this is only when recall is securely established.
