Pet care experience
I love dogs & all animals. I've had pets my entire life & so I have quite a bit of experience in raising animals & their care. Taking care of your pet is more than feeding & water but providing love and attention. I have 3 little girl dogs, Gigi, Gretchen & Chia. My girls are very social & patient with any new visitors. I also have a 22 year old Macaw named Koko and a tortoise named Maggie. Each dog I have cared for since I started pet sitting is unique and their characters amaze me. Their unconditional love is contagious. Pet sitting is the best job I've ever had!

Georgia was great. I received daily updates and photos of my dog. She got a lot of outdoor play and seemed happy to be there.

I will care for your fur baby like my own because I know how much this little creature means to you. My pets live inside my home & I can offer feeding, medication, lots of time outside plus lots of play time. I've had experience caring for elderly dogs, foster dogs & shy dogs. I will make sure that they will be safe with the other dogs in my care to help with socialization. We're a pretty laid-back bunch here so they will have a free & calm environment. Your pet will receive one on one care from me. I will provide a comfortable place for your pet to sleep, access to their food & water and lots of love and attention. I have extra crates, bedding & bowls for your pet. These items are cleaned & sanitized after each stay. All of my girls are on monthly heartworm & flea protection & up to date on vaccinations. My backyard (almost 1 acre) is completely fenced in for a safe place to run, bark & bask in the sun and plenty of shade with easy access into my house while completely monitored by me.

Let me know if your pet has any special requirements, food restrictions, medications, or anxiety issues, which are no problem for me to handle. I've researched & studied ways to help my girls to increase their training & help reducing their anxiety but they teach me more every day.
A typical day
We have time outside first thing in the morning after waking. Meals times are immediately after waking up in the morning and in the evening. I supervise meals so that everyone gets their own food. Of course, we have snack time & lots of naps when needed. Your dog will have access to the backyard at their leisure and I supervise all outdoor time. There's plenty of squirrels, birds & toys to keep them occupied.

Availability
I'm retired so my schedule is open for whenever you need care for your beloved pet. I also update my calendar for you to check on my availability. I'm happy to modify the stay so you can drop off the evening before or pick up the next morning. I can also pickup & dropoff your pet from your residence if needed.
