We would love to do a meet and greet with your dogs (if possible!) before you make your final decision! We currently have two dogs at home who are both crate trained. One is a 8yr old red heeler/pit mix and the other is a 1yr old Transylvanian Hound. Both are rescues! We keep all dogs separated during feeding to avoid any food aggression issues. I wake up early to feed, and take the dogs on a walk first thing to ensure they get plenty of time to use the restroom. I usually take the dogs out every couple of hours for fresh air/potty break. If a dog is boarded at our house, we love spending time with them and making sure your dog is getting all the attention they need. At times your dog may have to go into a crate if we leave the house for an errand. If your dog isn’t crate trained yet it’s definitely something that I am able to handle/and or work with/train if it’s something you are comfortable with. We do not leave dogs in crates for extended periods of time because we want to make sure they have the freedom to do as they please/play/exercise/relax! Some days we may load up in a vehicle with our dogs + yours and go for a walk at a pet friendly park to get out of the house for a change of scenery! If your dog has medical related issues, I have experience with administering oral/topical medications as well as giving intramuscular and subcutaneous injections. I absolutely love dogs and would enjoy to get to know your pet! I consider all the dogs I’ve been fortunate to care for in the past as family and would be honored to add to it!
