Hey there! I’m George. I’m so glad to be working with Rover! Sitting & Pet Care. I have been surrounded by animals my entire life as they are a huge passion of mine I grew up watching the crocodile hunter as a kid and since then I knew I wanted to help them as much as I could. I began fostering, saving, re-homing and boarding animals at my house for as long as I can remember. I remember my mom always telling me “you can’t save them all” and I would always disagree. I still stand by that to this day. I grew up with one cat to start off with, and then one day my parents took me to the pet store and said “you can pick out any animal you want.” I picked out a sweet bearded dragon named Shenron. Not much later, we rescued other Lizards, and then lizards turned into cats and litters of kittens and then dogs and litters of puppies. I currently own 2 cats and 2 dogs. I love them all very much. I understand how important it is to be able to trust who takes care of your fur babies, so I am thrilled to have this opportunity to work for such a well rounded company.
