Pet care experience
I've been using Rover/Dogbuddy for about 4 years now, and in that time I've looked after many different dogs.I have a number of regular dogs that I walk and I have a very flexible working schedule so do not require too much notice for a walk. I like all types of dogs and am happy with both energetic ones that require a lot of care and more chilled out dogs who like to relax and sleep. I'm used to giving them medication if required and am open to any more specialised care if that is needed. I am currently staying close to Holyrood so I'm not far from many places to go for walks. George always take really good care of Lucky!
We left our little puppy Bonnie with George for a few hours whilst we had some activities booked during a visit to Edinburgh. He was great at keeping in touch with us before we dropped Bonnie off and sent us videos of how she was doing during her stay. We would definitely use George again if we came back to Edinburgh.
George was great with our rescue dog Oskar. Oskar can be a bit shy at first, but he settled in pretty quickly and was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. We received regular updates including photos and videos and felt like our boy was in good hands.
So happy I found George. Very reliable and Zeus loves to go. He went for a sleepover after only a meet and great as it was last minute and Zeus clicked with him straight away and got on great. We now have George for walks twice a week and i will definitely be using him for more sleepovers. Highly recommended.

I am happy to do walks with dogs that are not allowed off lead and vice versa. I also have completely fenced in parks near to me that would allow dogs that struggle with recall to be let off for a good run around.

Information that I will need to know before a walk includes level of recall, any aggressive or defensive behaviour that your dog may exhibit, and level of friendliness to othere dogs we may meet.
A typical day
I like to take dogs to places like Holyrood park or Arthur's seat. I like taking a ball out for more energetic dogs and for elderly or smaller dogs I can take slower walks with lots of breaks to rest.

I am currently dog walking full time so have a very flexible schedule and offer both individual and group walks, so I would be able to take nervous or easily stressed out dogs for walks where they can relax on their own.
