Hello there everyone! I am a middle-aged man who has owned different dog breeds my whole life up until a few years ago. Although I am blind I have a very special relationship with dogs and also recently completed a five month internship at a doggy daycare where I was taught how to bathe dogs and talk more about dog behavior. I live in a secured building in North Portland which has its own fenced in dog yard. I have different techniques I use when caring for dogs such as keeping a bell on a string on the handle of my door so I know when the dog wants out. Dogs know I can’t see it and they also know my cane is not a weapon or a toy. I love dogs more than people and when care for your dog as if it were my own.
