Dog lover and trainer providing people with quality care for their precious four legged loved ones. My wife, Erin, and I have owned animals our entire lives. I use my training and experience to create the right environment for your pet. When boarding with us you get a customized plan to make your dog’s experience as close to home as possible reducing their stress. Dogs get daily walks and play time included with their stay, unless you ask for something different. You will also receive daily updates, including photos and/or videos about your dog’s stay. I currently work full-time with part of it being from home and part of it being from my office which is 5 minutes from my house. My work schedule is extremely flexible allowing me to adjust as needed. In addition my wife, Erin, is a teacher who is currently working from home, so at least one of us is usually at the house.

There is nobody I trust more to take care my dog in my absence than George. He demonstrated professionalism, patience, and a passion for caring for canines. I knew my dog was under exceptional care and was provided frequent updates about the well-being of my dog.
George has an amazing touch with canines. I have watched with amazement as he has trained his latest puppy. The most impressive skill is how the dog focuses to his cues, even when in a crowd. Erin and George care for their animals extremely well. They are dedicated to their children, animals, and professions. In the 15 years I have known George he has always been an avid dog lover. His dogs are always well behaved and properly cared for. He always asks about my dogs and takes an active interest in them. George often comes to visit and meet my newest foster dog. He is one of the very few people I trust to watch over my dogs when I’m not able too. Outside of being a dog lover, George is a dedicated friend and upstanding person. He will always drop what he is doing to help you in your time of need. You won’t find a better place or person to care for your pets while you’re away.
Having known George for the better part of 6 years, our family can attest to his trustworthiness and professionalism. And as it pertains to his knowledge of dogs and dog training, he ranks among the best in the DC/Metro area. How many dog trainers are police lieutenants with K9 unit oversight and training experience? That expertise, combined with his professional approach and mannerisms, is a recipe for success with literally any dog I can think of. I'd trust George with my two pups any day of the week.

Your dog will be treated like a member of our pack. They will receive regular play time in our large fenced yard, in addition to daily walks. We evaluate each guest to determine if they can play with the pack or if it better for them to have their own time. In deciding this we talk to you before the stay and listen to your preferences. The walks may be on the neighborhood trails or as a part of field trip to another location. Regardless of their involvement level or where it takes place, we always look out for the safety of your loved one first. We believe in using exercise, play, and structure to create a calming environment.

There are lots of walking paths and parks in our neighborhood. We like being able to take dogs with us when we run errands when possible based on the needs of the dog and the desires of you the owner.

Currently I work a full-time job in addition to training dogs. Fortunately my work is very flexible allowing me to work from home part of the time and my office is only five minutes away. In addition my wife Erin teaches fifth grade and is currently teaching from home. This means at least one of use is usually at the house.
