I grew up in a family that rescues dogs and my mom does behavior and training. When I go home for a visit, there are 10 dogs and my room is used for occasional kitten rescues! I've loved and cared for all kinds of dogs: senior, hearing- impaired, puppies and rescues from all sorts of backgrounds. I currently walk dogs and am available for walks or overnight pet sitting. I live in my own apartment now and it feels empty when there isn't a furry friend around. I live a few blocks from Green Lake and would walk your dog there. If that's too busy for your dog, there are plenty of quieter routes here as well. Please feel free to reach out if you think I might be a good fit for your pet. 🦴🐕 What We Do My focus is making sure your pet feels secure and loved. I've found exercise and familiar routine are key in making dogs happy. When your dog stays with me overnight, I first set up his bed with toys and blankets that you've brought from home. After 15 or 20 minutes exploring, we'll pop on a leash and go on a good, long walk. After our walk, dogs seem to settle in and feel at home. I'm so happy when he feels comfortable enough to roll over for the belly rubs!! 📷 Pupdates Most dog parents want to know how their pets are doing. Instead of reaching out to me every time you want to check in—I will proactively send updates and pictures of your dog's day so you stay up to date on all the fun things we're up to! 🏡 The Place I live with my sister in an apartment a few blocks away from Green Lake. Your dog will go there daily if he/she likes long walks, duck watching and squirrel monitoring. I do walk a couple of dogs that find it overstimulating there so we keep to more quiet residential streets or walk off of the main path of the lake. The apartment is dog friendly and your pup is welcome on the furniture/ bed if that's what she's used to. My sister works from home so there will always be someone with your dog. Since I board one dog at a time, he/ she can come with me whenever I go out too.
