Check out my insta @genies_petsitting for more info! Hi there! I'm a full-time pet sitter who left the corporate world behind to follow my passion for animal care. My professional journey in pet care started at a local boarding and grooming facility. Since then, I happily transitioned to pet sitting for friends and family, and finally joined Rover in 2022. I have been caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and ages since I was young though. These days you can find me pampering my two beautiful cats and mostly blind rescue dog 🖤 When I'm not petsitting, I volunteer downtown at Michigan Humane; this enabled me to obtain my Fear Free Certification so I could have a better understanding of pet behavior and well-being. I recently completed an online pet CPR and first aid course to continue my education and help me care for your fur babies. I am also comprehensively insured, to further guarantee your pet's safety and security under my care 🐾

A typical day
I will always follow your pet's normal routine to ensure minimal stress while you are away. I use positive reinforcement and lots of treats to make sure your beloved pets have as pleasant of a time as possible while you're away. Depending on your pet's preference, we could do mental enrichment games or playtime with a favorite toy, or both! If your kittycat is shy, I will give them space and talk quietly to them until they are more comfortable. I can brush or lightly groom your pet as needed. Unlimited cuddles and scritches are included (as tolerated) too!

Availability
Since transitioning to pet-sitting fulltime, I can accommodate whatever routine your pet(s) need! I do have a full client list already so am only accepting new drop-in clients at this time. My overnight house-sitting hours are typically 8pm-8am and include a midday drop-in. Please add additional drop-ins as needed.
