With over 10 years experience looking after my own animals, 5 years working with animals professionally (horses), and 3 years pet/house sitting experience, I will fill your dogs day with fun, without ever compromising on safety, routine, health and security for your dog and your home. I know that peace of mind knowing their pet is in good hands is the most important thing for pet owners on holiday, and routine and stability is the most important thing for pets while their owners are away. I have experience looking after not only dogs, but cats, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, horses, reptiles, birds, amphibians and fish, so I can easily include other pet care into my visit or stay. I am happy to continue with any training your dog is currently working on (including simple but important things such as sitting before crossing the road), and I understand that consistency and positivity are the key factors. I am also able to provide a grooming service for dogs with medium to high maintainence coats. I am a BSc Zoology graduate, which included modules in animal behaviour. I am now undertaking a Masters by research, alongside which I intend to move into dog training. Excellent references available, including from a busy mixed pet household and from a long term (4 week) stay. N.B. Although I offer dog boarding at my own home too, I live in a flat (with enclosed private grounds) with a cat and caged pets.
