Pet care experience
My family has always had pets, from cats to chinchillas to praying mantises, and learning the responsibility of taking care of them was an important part of my growing up. I have cared for sick foster kittens, nursed my cat back to health after stomach surgery, and dogsitted. I like to develop a relationship with each pet i meet and get to know their unique personalities. However, I do have to say that I have never owned a dog and i do not know dogs as well as cats. Like i said, i have dogsat many times (sometimes with children- once a baby, in the mix), and also once fostered two very adorable and extremely energetic, un-potty trained lab puppies. I don't have that childhood experience of owning a dog (tragic) but i'm a fast learner and will do my research- I genuinely enjoy learning about these types of things.

Genevieve has spent a lot of time with my two cats. She is very gentle and kind with them. My timid orange cat even comes to greet her and get his pets from her every time she comes in. My calico sits with her and purrs furiously every time she sees her. Genevieve treats them as her babies so to speak and I trust in her to take loving care of them when I'm not there to.

In my house are two animal lovers who are eager to give your pet some love. I am home unless im at work and if I am not, my father works from home and is here in his office, hangin out with our cat usually, all day. My cat probably would not love your pet, im not gonna lie, but we have ways we could separate pets if they didn't get along. He's not a meanie or anything, he just gets a little scared. Because we have always owned cats and not dogs, we do not have a lot to provide for dogs. I would be happy to take anything your animal normally uses, beds, toys, food. Hopefully your pup is more high maintenance in the love department than the material department. ☺️ In your home, I will of course be respectful of your rules and preferences- you know what's best for your pet. I have babysat and dogsat so i'm comfortable takin care of things in other peoples' homes.

-Emergency contacts - Any health information about your buddy (medications, illnesses, etc.) -Potty trained?? - Dog's daily routine (feeding, walking, play, etc.) -grooming supplies Id also like if you could describe your doggy a bit. What do they like to do? How do they like to be pet? What are their triggers? What kind of personality do they have? Are they anxious, chill, standoffish, loving? Do they get along with other animals or people? What can I do to bond with them? Where do they like to go to? Do they have a favorite place to walk? Anything that might help me approach your friend in a comforting way :) Also- Let me know if your dog tends to try to drag you. I'm like hardly over 100 pounds here don't get me wrong i can tug a dog if i need to but i might wanna prepare for that a little lol.
A typical day
Your dog and i are gonna be good friends. we will go to the park together, i'll probably sit and eat meals with them to be honest. i'll do whatever your dog likes to do, i'll just be happy to be with em. that sounds like a good friendship to me. special places will probably include places a little off the beaten path. we will bond through exploration.

I am currently working part-time at a breakfast restaurant, so i'm all yours any day after 3. my schedule changes every week, so some days i will also be available before 3.
