I live with my boyfriend, Danny and 1 additional roommate in a house with a fenced backyard in Oakland, CA. Danny and I are both working from home full-time M-F but have fairly flexible schedules. We are very active on the weekends, and while we are not yet full-time dog owners ourselves, we love dog sitting and boarding for all types of dogs and bringing them on long walks and hikes around the Bay Area. My background with dogs: I grew up with 6 dogs - two chinooks, two boxers, and two cotons, and I have experience caring for and loving all kinds of dogs as a dog sitter/walker/boarder. In addition to loving dogs of all shapes and sizes, I can manage dogs with a wide variety of temperaments. While I was in college in Vermont (2012 - 2016), I regularly cared for a 2-year-old Siberian Husky, taking him on long walks/hikes/runs and occasionally boarding him at my apartment. I used Rover to get to know San Francisco during my first two years in the city, and eventually left the app to be a full-time dog sitter and dog walker for a colleague. Now that I have moved to Oakland, and am working from home full-time with a very flexible schedule, a fenced-in back yard, and a large house, I am looking for opportunities to spend time with more dogs!
