Hello! I’m Genesis! I recently moved to Denver about a year ago! I had done serving jobs and retail jobs mostly but I joined Wag about six months ago and fell in love! My friend told me about Rover and I was super ready to be apart of this too! I remember when I was young wanting to be a dog trainer and I would only watch animal planet! I took care of my grandmothers 5 dogs for three months while she was gone. I’ve had two dogs as a child as well. I love dogs so much. I’ve loved more than anything getting to spend time with the dogs I encounter! My first dog was a dalmatian when I was six and I loved her to death. My mother’s boyfriend ended up keeping her and since then I begged my mom for a dog but we always lived in apartments. As fate had it we moved into a house and rescued a puppy from an abusive family. I raised and trained him from a puppy when I was 14 years old. When I moved to Colorado I knew I wouldn’t be able to afford having a dog here so I let my mom keep him. Being with these dogs everyday has helped me so much with not having my puppy around me.
