I am an animal lover and also an animal activist. My instinct is to be the person to help a dog in need. I used to have a problem of taking in strays and homing them for too long, I never wanted to give them up. Now I am part of a few animal activist groups in Vegas and we have a great network of connections and animal lovers working together to help each animal in every different situation, whether I find lost pets wandering near busy streets, cats in the neighborhood that need food or neutering, dogs that need a home, whatever it may be, we all work and help out together to get it done. All the animals I come across in my life, my love for them is endless. I take great care of my pets, lots of food, love, attention and exercise. Hugs and kisses are also essential keys to there well being, but I also have dog training experience so dogs tend to be on their best behavior with me. I love all animals so when they are under my supervision, they will be loved and taken care of as if they were my own. About this sitter: I had my first pet from as young as I could remember. When I was in kindergarten, probably five years old, my mom used to go pay the rent and I would be next door at the vets office, making friends with all the animals first and then the staff. I loved every pet in that place. There was a dog that I visit every time and one day the vet staff told me that this one dog loved me and they thought I should be the one to take him home <3 I was only five then, they told me I should ask my mom because he belonged with me. I brought my mom in there and they all told her stories and reasons of why this dog needed to live with us and we left with him, I named him Joshua and promised to love pets and care for them my whole life, just like the vet staff did! I stopped pursuing veterinarian medicine only in college when I found myself crying over every sad situation a vet must go through daily, euthanizing and emergency situations I cry over just from watching animal planet and I realized I would be too emotionally drained in situations like that so I found other ways to help animals and care for them. Why I love dog sitting Ever since I was a young kid I discovered what a dog first was & wanted one to love. When I was 5, I used to beg my mom to take me to the veterinarian next to where we paid the rent just so I could visit the pets in there. I went in there all the time to visit a new dog that came in, he was abused and neglected and I watched him recover over months. All the workers mentioned how much he liked me visiting him and one day they told me I could take him home. So I did, I named him Joshua and he died of old age when I was 13. I had him a little over 8 years and that was the first dog I ever had. Though there were many more pets to come. Meet my pets Ravenna is a rare red color with gold markings like a doberment. She loves any dog she meets, from small to massively large. She is a little shy at first but loves attention from anyone who wants to get to know her. She is very affectionate, loving and tends to cuddle with people shortly after meeting them. She loves any type of treats, she is not picky at all with that, She does prefer her favorite types of dog food since her mouth is so itty bitty and tiny, her food must be small bites. She has a natural way to warm up your heart. Persayus, my cat, loves attention from anyone who comes in the house. She will run up to you and make sure you pet her and give her lots of love and affection. She is very curious and interested in meeting new pets that enter her home, but if she doesn't play with them or interact kindly, then she will go into her kitty bed and lounge by herself until she feels like playing with them. About my yard I have a huge Vegas yard(and we have grass too) for pets to run freely in. It is closed off with a gate and a small brick wall in the front. We share this huge yard with a few other dogs, all friendly and loving like my dogs. There is also a big park on the street over if you want to sign your dog up for a longer walk. My experience administering medication Yes, I have administered oral pills, suppositories, needle injections as well as IV fluids in my animal medical history.
